Treat your Valentine to an evening of romantic fine dining at one of Downtown's restaurants featuring special menu options. Dine at The Eagle's Nest Restaurant, one of Indy's most romantic restaurants with a great view of the city. Listen to jazz harpist Jan Aldridge Clark performing at Chef Joseph's at The Connoisseur Room. Enjoy a three-course dinner for two at Weber Grill Feb 14 – 16.

Get up and groove after dinner at the Love is All You Need Dinner Dance at The Rathskellar on Feb. 14. This event features a three-course meal starting at 6 p.m. followed by a live performance from Woomblies Rock Orchestra from 8 p.m. - 12 a.m.

Enjoy a wine tasting! Tastings: A Wine Experience is offering a Valentine’s Day Sparkling and Still Wine Pairing at Tastings on Feb. 12 at 6 p.m. Get your “wine passport” to the wine regions of France at The Propylaeum’s Passport To France dinner and wine tasting event on Feb. 14.

Enjoy an evening of laughter and fun and catch I Love Lucy: Live On Stage at Old National Center Feb. 11 - 16. Theatre on the Square brings you two entertaining shows on Feb. 14 at 8 p.m.: The Love List and Defending The Caveman. The titles say it all - funny and, oddly enough, thought provoking.

Catch a Valentine's Day screening of The Strong Man on Feb. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. In this film directed by Frank Capra, Paul Bergot (Harry Landon) becomes pen-pals with Mary Brown (Pricilla Bonner) during The Great War and quickly falls in love with her.

For the Kurt Vonnegut fans, check out Who am I this Time? And Other Conundrums of Love at the Indiana Repertory Theatre Feb. 14 at 7:30 p.m. Some of Vonnegut's most endearing characters wander through three charming stories searching for love and identity.

What's more timelessly romantic than a Shakespeare performance? IndyFringe Basile Theatre is showing Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale Feb. 14 & 15 at 8 p.m. secret identities, a lost princess, an oracle, a pickpocket and one ravenous bear make for an evening of laughter, love and tears. Other performance dates include: Feb. 21, 22 & 28 and March 1.

Younger Valentines can enjoy Valentine’s Day Cabaret at Peewinkle’s Puppet Studio Feb. 8, 9 & 13. Sweetheart the Clown will narrate the show and special sweet treats and a drink are included in the ticket price. An optional post-show workshop is available for purchase.

Nothing says romance like a classic cabaret performance, and Broadway star Chester Gregory provides just that during his performance at The Cabaret at The Columbia Club. Catch Chestor Gregory: The Eve of Jackie, A Tribute to Jackie Wilson Feb. 14 & 15 at 8 p.m. Make it an entire evening with dinner, cocktails and a little extra swank.

Romance will surely be in the air when the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra presents Heart & Soul: An Evening of Romance Feb. 14 - 16. From the classic love story of Romeo and Juliet to the timeless theme "As Time Goes By" from Casablanca, the ISO will perform a selection of some of the most well-known and romantic classical, pop and jazz standards.

Hear from soulful singer/songwriter Avant at Old National Centre Feb. 14 at 7:30 p.m. The R&B crooner is back with the release of his seventh album, Face the Music.

Grab a date and dress up as your favorite couple for Karneval at The Athenaeum Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. Enjoy live music from Polkamotion, dancing, drinks and food. Prizes will be awarded to the best costumes.

Catch the Indiana Ice as they take on Tri City Storm Feb. 14 and 15 at 7:05 p.m. at Pan Am Pavilion. The Indiana Pacers take on the Dallas Mavericks at Bankers Life Fieldhouse Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. Also at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, watch tennis greats John McEnroe, Ivan Lendl, Jim Courier and Mark Philippoussis at PowerShares Tennis Circuit starting at 7 p.m.
