• Approximately 425 taxis representing 48 taxi companies are permitted in Indianapolis.
• Pick-up fees range from $1.25 - $5.
• There is an additional fee per 1/5 mile that is $.40 and $.65 for each extra passenger.
• $5 is the flat fee that can be charged for Downtown rides.
