On Thursday, June 20, the Boy Scouts of America will host the Marsh Cookout on the Circle on the south half of Monument Circle. The SouthEast and SouthWest Quadrants of Monument Circle and spokes will be closed from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. for this event.
On Friday, June 21, Yoga on the Circle on the Longest Day will take place on the south half of Monument Circle. The event is scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. The SouthEast and SouthWest Quadrants of Monument Circle and spokes will be closed from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. for this event.
On Friday, June 21, Clustertruck will be on the west block of Georgia Street. The event will be a gathering of 10 food trucks serving lunch. Georgia Street between Capitol Avenue and Illinois Street will be closed to traffic 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
On Friday, June 21, Indianapolis Downtown, Inc. will host Friday Block Parties on Georgia Street from 5 - 8 p.m. The event will include music and a beer garden. Georgia Street between Meridian and Pennsylvania streets will be closed to traffic 2 - 10 p.m.
On Saturday, June 22, Phoenix Theatre will sponsor Brew Ha-Ha on Park Avenue. The event is a micro-brew festival featuring samples of craft beer, food and live entertainment. The 700 block of Park Avenue will be closed from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. for this event.
On Saturday, June 22, the Central Indiana Bicycling Association will host the 20th annual N.I.T.E. Ride , a 20-mile nighttime bicycle tour on well-lit streets Downtown. The ride begins and ends at Michael A. Carroll Track and Soccer Stadium at IUPUI. The event starts at 11 p.m. and lasts until 2:30 a.m. Off-duty IMPD police officers on motorcycles will be leading and trailing the bicyclists and stationed at intersections along the route. The route includes streets in the NorthWest Quadrant of Downtown including Monument Circle, Indiana Avenue, Illinois, Market, Michigan, New York, Ohio and West streets. The following Downtown streets will have traffic restrictions between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. for this event:
• New York Street between Barnhill Drive and West Street
• West Street between New York and Ohio streets
• Ohio Street between West Street and Capitol Avenue
• Capitol Avenue between Ohio and Market streets
• Market Street between Capitol Avenue and Monument Circle
• Illinois Street between Market and 52nd streets
For these events, please plan your travel through Downtown accordingly. There will be parking and sidewalk restrictions for the events.
