On Thursday, June 13, the Christ Church Cathedral Women's annual Strawberry Festival will take place on Monument Circle. The event is scheduled to run 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. The north half of Monument Circle will be closed from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. for this event. Included in the closure are Meridian Street between Ohio Street and Monument Circle and Market Street between Pennsylvania and Illinois streets (closed to westbound traffic only).
On Friday, June 14, Indianapolis Downtown, Inc. will host Friday Block Parties on Georgia Street from 5 - 8 p.m. The event will include music and a beer garden. Georgia Street between Meridian and Pennsylvania streets will be closed to traffic 2 - 10 p.m.For these events, please plan your travel through Downtown accordingly. There will be parking and sidewalk restrictions for the events.
