Indianapolis Downtown Marketing, Inc. (IDMI) Board - 60 senior marketing officials representing Downtown's key attractions, restaurants, shops and associations. Jesse Ghumm, Chairman. Meets quarterly.
Cultural Districts Program - IDI leads efforts with six cultural districts to enhance cultural districts as destinations. Funded by the Indianapolis Cultural Development Commission. Representatives of the Districts, Commission and partner organizations meet quarterly as Cultural Districts Council.
Downtown Office Initiative - IDI partners with building owners and managers, real estate brokers, the City, State and The Indy Partnership to collaboratively and strategically position Downtown and increase Downtown office occupancy through targeted retention, marketing and recruitment efforts. Meets quarterly.
Downtown Residents' Association - Connects Downtown residential neighborhood association presidents and/or representatives with IDI to create a forum to voice concerns, resolve issues and exchange information about Downtown. Meets quarterly.
Mass Ave Development Plan Coordinating Committee - IDI, in partnership with Riley Area Development Corporation (RADC), created the Mass Ave Commercial Development Plan and facilitates working committees comprised of RADC, City staff, residents, business operators, property owners and IDI to implement the tasks identified in the plan. Meets quarterly.
North Meridian Neighborhood Stakeholders Task Force - IDI convened area stakeholders to develop a vision and implementation plan and recruitment publication tool. Meets quarterly.
Pennsylvania and Market Street Stakeholders Task Force - IDI convened area stakeholders to develop a vision and implementation plan to recruit businesses and increase area occupancy. Meets quarterly.
Regional Center Plan 2020 - IDI, in partnership with the City and Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee, co-hosted Downtown's visioning and land use planning process. Updated every ten years. Working group, meets regularly to oversee implementation.
Wholesale District Area Task Force - More than 200 property owners, business operators and real estate professionals redeveloping the area bounded by Illinois, Monument Circle, Pennsylvania and South Streets. Meets quarterly.
Circle of Lights® presented by the Contractors of Quality Connection and Electrical Workers of IBEW 481 - Contractors of Quality Connection, Electrical Workers of IBEW 481, WRTV 6 and IDI collaborate to present the annual central Indiana holiday season kick-off with a live and televised event and season-long holiday decor.
Holidays Cross-Marketing Task Force - IDMI Board members, vendors and volunteers who plan and implement Downtown holiday media relations and promotions.
Beautification Committee - 35 female community leaders who serve in an advisory capacity and seek funding from individuals for Downtown beautification. Marge Tarplee, Chairwoman. Meets three times a year.
Beautification Partnership - 380 members. In partnership with Indy Parks and Recreation and City Department of Public Works, IDI plants two seasons of flowers in 200 planters. A "Beautification Calendar" that sets forth a planting schedule and flower colors is distributed annually.
Cleaning Advisory Committee - 35 major public/private stakeholders who establish and coordinate cleaning priorities and help recruit businesses into the Cleaning Partnership. The Partnership is comprised of 139 stakeholders representing more than 542 Downtown properties. Advisory Committee meets bi-monthly.
Pest Bird Task Force - 49 public and private firms that strategize solutions to minimize effects of starlings and pigeons in Downtown.
Street Tree Lighting Partnership - 69 trees on Monument Circle lighted year round by four IBEW #481/NECA Quality Connection member firms: Barth Electric, ERMCO Electric, Inc., Long Electric, Inc. and Miller-Eads Company, Inc.
IDI Bike and Walking Patrol - Off-duty Indianapolis Police Department (IPD), Marion County Sheriff, IUPUI, Indiana State Capitol, Indianapolis Housing Authority and other Indiana Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) graduates that patrol Downtown for IDI.
IDI Safety E-Mail Notification - An electronic crime watch that quickly disseminates information on suspects, events, street closings and safety tips to its 175 members. Distributed as needed.
Security Partnership - A public-private partnership of 32 organizations, 186 buildings and approximately 500 security and police personnel who proactively address security issues, coordinate resources and act as a additional "eyes and ears" for IPD. Partnership members are linked via police radio. Meets bi-monthly.
Downtown Parking Partnership - A collaboration of public and private parking owners and operators identifying and addressing key issues related to Downtown parking. The goal is to strategically manage Downtown parking as an amenity and enhance customers' perceptions of a convenient Downtown. Meets bi-monthly.
