Final audition for Circle of Lights® presented by the Contractors of Quality Connection and Electrical Workers of IBEW 481
Show off your talent at the 49th annual Circle of Lights® presented by the Contractors of Quality Connection and Electrical Workers of IBEW 481 Friday, Nov. 25. Quality Connection, IBEW 481, WRTV6 and Indianapolis Downtown, Inc. are seeking entertainers to perform a variety of acts including, but not limited to, vocal acts ranging from soloists to show choirs and dance troupes.  It’s your last opportunity to audition!

This year for the first time, all auditions will be recorded and made into an RTV-6 Circle of Lights®audition special, The Circle of Lights® Talent Search. The show will take viewers behind the scenes for the drama as hundreds of Hoosier singers, dancers and entertainers vie for one of only six spots in the beloved Circle of Lights show.  The one-hour Circle of Lights® Talent Searchwill premiere Thanksgiving night, Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. on RTV-6.

The remaining audition will take place Saturday, Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. - noon at the Electrical Training Institute, 1751 S. Lawndale Ave.  Selected finalists will be called back for a final audition on Oct. 10. Circle City Classic®

Heartland Film Festival celebrates 20th anniversary
Lights, camera, action!  Sit back, relax and enjoy the shows at the 2011 Heartland Film Festival Oct. 13 – 22 at various locations Downtown. Capture a rare glimpse of independent, international films from around the world, plus a variety of special events for film enthusiasts of all ages. The festival presents more than $125,000 in cash prizes, recognizing and honoring filmmakers whose work artistically explores the human journey.
