Downtown Needs You: Join Downtown Indy

Downtown has changed dramatically since Downtown Indy was formed in 1993 to develop, manage and market the heart of our city. While much has been accomplished, there is still more to do. Downtown must continue to grow in order to remain competitive. This requires strategic oversight and services to ensure Downtown Indianapolis is a profitable place to do business and a vibrant place to live, work and visit. With your commitment, Downtown Indy will continue to provide programs that are vital to Downtown's success. Please join us and invest in Downtown today!

Membership Benefit Levels

Partner ($500)

  • Member profile page on Downtown Indy's website with photo/logo, description and link to your website (coming 2014)
  • Invitation to Downtown Indy's annual State of Downtown meeting
  • Opportunities to promote your events on Downtown Indy's website (subject to approval)
  • Downtown Business Updates via email monthly
  • Business referrals to public via phone, web, email etc. from Downtown Indy staff
  • Downtown beautification calendar and coordinated flower plan
  • Public safety and traffic/street closure alerts via email
  • Sidewalk cleanliness update and map
  • Help with panhandling and homeless issues
  • Safety Patrol route stop periodically for street level businesses
  • Bike rack assistance and placement
  • Pest bird control (ask about inclusion in Downtown's Pest Bird Program)
  • Façade improvement help as needed (ask about our Façade Improvement Grants)
  • Your input and ideas captured through our annual member survey to help set priorities for Downtown Indy

Investor ($4,000) receives all Partner benefits, plus:

  • Opportunity to promote organizational events, activities or news through Downtown Indy social media outlets
  • Access to Downtown Indy’s members only section of website with custom reports and information (coming 2014)
  • One discounted block rental on Georgia Street
  • IPL Trees for Tomorrow, trees distributed based on need and availability
  • Volunteer recruitment help for your beautification/community development project and requests for help with clean ups like graffiti, litter, dumpsters, alleys, etc.
  • Information on upcoming real estate investments in the pipeline Downtown, project list and map
  • Downtown Living Guide supply provided upon request
  • Opportunity to promote organizational events, activities or news through Downtown Indy’s weekly e-newsletter, based on approval and space availability

Collaborator ($25,000) receives all Partner and Investor benefits, plus:

  • Invitation to networking event 2 times per year for your senior staff (new for 2014)
  • President’s Breakfast, Downtown Update 2 times per year (new for 2014)
  • Invitation to attend Downtown Indy’s Partnership Meetings
  • Discounted rental of banner program (Art design and printing not included. Discount is not extended to your clients and partners)

Trustee ($40,000+) receives all Partner, Investor and Collaborator benefits, plus:

  • Downtown Indy Board seat
  • One free block rental on Georgia Street (new for 2014)
