Circle of Lights® presented by the Contractors of Quality Connection and Electrical Workers of IBEW 481
will take place November 28, 2008 on Monument Circle. In keeping
with tradition, this year's event will feature festive acts from
around the state. Santa, will of course be on hand to usher in the
holiday season and flip on the lights.
Visitors will enjoy Downtown's holiday centerpiece, complete with 4,784 lights and 52 garland strands used to create the
242 foot display. The magic continues with toy soldiers and
peppermint sticks encircling the Monument.
Special Needs Area
There is an area is available immediately in front of the stage for persons with special needs. This space is designed for those who are confined to a wheelchair, use a walker, wear a medical ID bracelet for a heart condition or are deaf or hearing impaired. Persons in this area may be accompanied by any guests attending the event with them. Event staff will be on hand to assist people into this area. Persons with special needs are encouraged to enter the event site from East Market & Pennsylvania Street for the easiest access to the Special Needs Area. They can then enter the special needs area at a gate located on the east side of the Monument.
